Vaycay Beauty is bringing the importance of plastic-free to the forefront of the clean beauty movement with two new luxury shampoo and conditioner sets launching this month.
The South-Asian owned haircare brand is excited to expand their Signature Collection with FIJI (repair) and GOA (growth). FIJI, inspired by the founder’s own Fiji-Indian heritage, combines Organic Turmeric, Frangipani and Neroli, while GOA has Indian Gooseberry (Amla), Rose, and Clove. FIJI and GOA each come with a large shampoo bar and conditioner bar, joining the original MALDIVES (moisture) set with Organic Marula Oil.
After struggling to find effective haircare for textured hair, Vaycay Beauty founder Ashlene Nand discovered solid shampoo on a trip to Miami and began selling to family and friends. In 2021, she relaunched the brand with a focus on making it as easy as possible for beauty customers to switch to bars.
“Our goal is to deliver a washday experience like no other,” says the founder of Vaycay Beauty, Ashlene Nand. “We want this collection to show that you don’t have to sacrifice the environment when shopping for natural shampoos and conditioners that work. And it doesn’t have to come in a brown paper bag, either. It can feel like a Sephora or Ulta Beauty product even without plastic.” Vaycay Beauty bars are formulated to work on all hair types.
Annually, the beauty industry produces more than 120 billion units of packaging globally and reportedly contributes to over one third of the planet’s landfill. Vaycay Beauty is tackling this problem head on with plastic-free, toxin-free haircare. All Vaycay Beauty’s products are handmade in the USA with 100 percent natural ingredients formulated without Parabens, SLS/SLES, Formaldehyde, Propylene Glycol, detergents, Silicones, Phthalates, Sodium Chloride, and Palm Oils.
