Hispanic Health Council welcomes new Director of Development

Hispanic Health Council (HHC) is proud to announce and welcome Thomas Mitchell as the new Director of Development.

Thomas is a versatile and cross-functional nonprofit fundraising leader with expertise on developing and implementing effective fundraising and marketing strategies. He has over 15 years of experience leading individual giving, donor retention, digital fundraising, sponsorship operations, web and content development.

He has the responsibility to plan, organize, and direct all the HHC’s fundraising initiatives including grants, individual giving, major gifts, annual and capital campaigns, social media campaign, endowment fund, and special events.

HHC has provided health and social services to Latinos and other diverse communities for more than 40 years. The organization engages the community by providing core health services, community-based research, provider training and policy advocacy. Some of the HHC’s core programs include parent and family learning, behavioral health services, maternal and infant health and community nutrition initiatives.
