Tyler Technologies Secures Property Reappraisal Contract with Bibb County, Georgia

Tyler Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: TYL) announced today that it has reached an agreement with Bibb County, Georgia, to provide its CLT property reappraisal services. The Bibb County Board of Commissioners approved the $1.85 million deal unanimously.

As part of the contract, Tyler will determine accurate 2009 property valuations for all taxable properties within Bibb County. The updated appraisals will enable the County to resolve its 2005 and subsequent tax digests. Correcting the digests through the assignment of accurate values, which is essential to providing local tax agencies throughout the County with revenue, is a top priority for Bibb County. The contract also allocates funds for Tyler professionals to assist the County with handling potential appeals that may result from the revaluation process.

According to David J. Johnson, president of Tylers Appraisal Services Solution, the agreement will enable Bibb County to meet state requirements for its tax digests in a timely and efficient manner. Bibb County is committed to the resolution of its property valuations.
