Invesco today announces it now manages more than $100 million in assets for clients in its Multi-Strategy investment capability, a highly diversified strategy incorporating several of Invesco’s best public market, absolute return-oriented capabilities.
The strategy, first made available in Australia in 2006, is now available to market participants in Asia, Europe and the U.S. It currently incorporates three broad investment disciplines; U.S. Market Neutral Equity, European Market Neutral Equity and Global Tactical Asset Allocation. Managed by the Invesco Multiple Asset Strategies (IMAS) team based in Atlanta, the strategy seeks to provide attractive diversification benefits, with little or no correlation to the major equity and fixed income markets.
“We designed multi-strategy to offer greater transparency and liquidity, and a more attractive pricing structure than traditional investments in hedge fund of funds,” said Scott Wolle, head of Invesco Multiple Asset Strategies. “We plan on continuing to add absolute return-oriented strategies that will complement, and further diversify the overall structure.”
Invesco Multiple Asset Strategies focuses on alternative investment strategies and seeks to deliver positive absolute returns regardless of market conditions. The team manages a number of strategies including global tactical asset allocation, active currency, risk premium capture, and multi-strategy. Customized portfolio solutions are offered using various means of implementation, including absolute-return, overlay, and portable-alpha strategies.
